So, last night Al decided that he'd whine and bark until 11:30. I tried telling him No Noise and petting him and ignoring him and nothing seemed to calm him down. I took him out again and he still whined. I thought it would never stop, but eventually he calmed down and fell asleep. It just goes to show that it's not always easy. Until next time...

  1. Hi Amy,
I am happy that you were able to calm Al down so he fell asleep. Are you still in school? If so can you takes Al with you?
    Keep up the good work!

  2. Aww yes the best thing to do is ignore them. By taking them out or petting them while they are whining teaches them to bark more for attention, and believe me than it will get worse! :)
He'll be ok I'd put him to bed a couple of hours before you go so you don't have to try and sleep through the racket!!
